XPM MANUFACTURING
From OEM Equipment to Complete Mission-Critical Packages
XPM Manufacturing provides the engineering, fabrication, integration, testing and installation required to transform specialist OEM equipment into complete data-centre infrastructure packages.
The OEM provides the core technology — engine, chiller, switchgear or other specialist equipment — and XPM takes it from there.
We design, engineer, fabricate, integrate, test, transport, install and support commissioning of the completed package.
OEM Equipment → XPM Engineering → Fabrication → Integration → Factory Testing → Transport → Installation → Commissioning
01 | GENERATOR PACKAGING
From Engine to Complete Genset
The engine OEM supplies the engine. XPM engineers and manufactures the complete generator package around it, integrating the mechanical, electrical, controls, fuel, cooling, ventilation and acoustic systems required for data-centre operation.
Engineering & Design:
Package architecture • Structural design • Acoustic engineering • Ventilation & thermal modelling • Fuel systems • Electrical integration • Controls philosophy • Maintainability • Transport and lifting studies • BIM / fabrication drawings
Fabrication & Integration:
Structural baseframes • Weatherproof / acoustic enclosures • Engine installation • Alternator integration • Coupling & alignment • Switchgear and control panels • Fuel pumps & filtration • Day tanks • Radiators / cooling systems • Fans • Louvres • Exhaust & silencers • Batteries & starting systems • Cable containment • Lighting • Fire and safety systems
The completed genset becomes a factory-integrated power module, rather than a collection of components assembled independently on site.
Engine Arrives → Baseframe → Alternator → Mechanical Systems → Electrical Systems → Controls → Enclosure → Factory Test → Load Bank → Release
XPM then transports the completed package to site, manages positioning and installation, connects it into the facility infrastructure and supports commissioning through to operational handover.
| THE XPM PACKAGER MODEL
Design. Engineer. Manufacture. Integrate. Deliver.
XPM sits between the specialist OEM and the data-centre project.
The OEM remains responsible for its core technology. XPM takes responsibility for everything required to turn that equipment into an installable infrastructure package.
1. DESIGN
Define the package architecture, interfaces, performance requirements, maintainability, logistics and installation strategy.
2. ENGINEER
Complete structural, mechanical, electrical, controls, acoustic, thermal and fabrication engineering.
3. MANUFACTURE
Fabricate baseframes, structural modules, enclosures, plantrooms and associated assemblies.
4. INTEGRATE
Install OEM equipment and integrate all auxiliary mechanical, electrical, fuel, cooling, ventilation, controls and safety systems.
5. TEST
Complete QA/QC, functional testing, FAT, controls testing, performance verification and — where applicable — generator load-bank testing.
6. DELIVER
Prepare the completed package for shipment and transport it directly from the factory to the data-centre site.
7. INSTALL
Position, assemble and connect the package into the site's power, cooling, fuel, controls and life-safety infrastructure.
8. COMMISSION
Support energisation, functional testing and integrated systems testing through to final operational handover.
ONE DELIVERY MODEL. MULTIPLE INFRASTRUCTURE SYSTEMS.
GENERATOR PACKAGES
Engine → Complete Genset
COOLING PACKAGES
Chiller → Complete Cooling Module
ELECTRICAL PACKAGES
Switchgear → Complete Switchroom
OEM TECHNOLOGY. XPM INTEGRATION. SITE-READY INFRASTRUCTURE.
By moving engineering, assembly and testing from the construction site into the factory, XPM creates repeatable, scalable mission-critical infrastructure packages designed for hyperscale and AI data-centre deployment.
XPM MANUFACTURING
02 | COOLING PACKAGES
From Chiller to Integrated Cooling Module
The same packaging philosophy can be applied to cooling infrastructure.
The OEM supplies the core cooling technology. XPM designs and integrates the surrounding mechanical, electrical, structural and controls infrastructure into a factory-built cooling package or modular plantroom.
Integration can include:
Chillers • Pumps • Heat exchangers • CDUs • Pipework • Valves • Strainers • Expansion systems • Water treatment • Electrical panels • VFDs • BMS controls • Sensors • Instrumentation • Cable containment • Structural steel • Acoustic treatment • Weatherproof enclosures
Where the project permits, equipment is assembled, piped, wired and tested in the factory before shipment.
OEM Chiller → XPM Engineering → Structural Package → Mechanical Integration → Electrical & Controls → Factory Testing → Transport → Site Installation
This moves labour and complexity away from the construction site and into a controlled manufacturing environment, improving repeatability, quality and programme certainty.
XPM MANUFACTURING
03 | SWITCHROOMS & ELECTRICAL MODULES
From Switchgear to Complete Electrical Room
XPM can apply the same manufacturing model to high-value electrical infrastructure.
The electrical OEM supplies the principal switchgear and equipment. XPM engineers and manufactures the complete modular switchroom around it.
Packages can integrate:
MV & LV switchgear • Transformers • UPS systems • Batteries • STS / ATS • Protection systems • Control panels • EPMS • Busduct interfaces • Cable containment • Earthing • Lighting • HVAC • Fire detection • Access control • Internal architectural finishes
XPM designs and fabricates the structural module, installs the equipment, completes internal wiring and interfaces, integrates controls and safety systems, and performs factory inspection and testing before shipment.
OEM Switchgear → XPM Module Design → Fabrication → Equipment Installation → Wiring & Controls → FAT → Transport → Positioning → Site Connections → Commissioning
The result is a complete electrical room delivered to site as an engineered package, significantly reducing site installation and interface risk.
Installation & Delivery
Our installation teams — mechanics, pipe fitters, welders and engineers — deliver genset and chiller installations to OEM and client specification, from logistics and crane-in through final connection. We coordinate the full sequence: site access, lifting plans, positioning, pipework, electrical tie-ins and mechanical completion, working directly alongside OEMs, general contractors and client stakeholders throughout.
XPM provides full A-Z project management, installation and commissioning services on hyperscale and data centre projects — one team accountable for the process from first delivery to final sign-off, not a series of handoffs between separate contractors. Every installation is executed to spec and commissioned against real load conditions on site, so clients and GCs get infrastructure that performs as designed, not infrastructure that merely looks correct on paper.
Our installation capability covers:
Generator installation and connection
Chiller installation and connection
Skid-mounted equipment installation
Structural steel erection
Pipework, welding and mechanical fitting
Electrical tie-ins and termination
Delivered by our own trades — welders, mechanics, pipe fitters and installation engineers — under a single point of A-Z accountability:
Logistics — site access, lifting plans and delivery sequencing
Installation — positioning, structural erection, mechanical and electrical connection
Commissioning — testing under real load conditions through to final sign-off
One team, one standard, from the first delivery to the crane lift to final handover.
