MESSAGE FROM OUR CEO
Over the past three decades, I have worked at the front line of some of the infrastructure sector's most demanding environments — from Tier 1 construction and major nuclear and defence programmes to, for the past two decades, data centres and hyperscale campuses.
That experience has taken our wider team across Frankfurt, London, Dublin, Vienna, Madrid, Paris, Virginia, Dallas, Zaragoza, Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, Dubai and Abu Dhabi, among many other locations. Collectively, our specialists bring experience across an estimated 3–4 GW of mission-critical infrastructure.
Our capability extends across the complete delivery chain: generator systems including diesel, HVO and continuous gas power; industrial-scale cooling and chillers; electrical infrastructure and switchrooms; civils and building construction; design and engineering; project and programme management; commercial management; installation, factory testing and commissioning.
This breadth is deliberate.
XPM has been built around the principle that the strongest outcomes are achieved when experienced people are engaged early and remain accountable throughout delivery.
Our preference is therefore to work with clients from the commencement of a programme — establishing the strategy, understanding the interfaces, developing the programme and commercial controls, working with OEMs and contractors, and remaining involved through manufacture, construction, installation, energisation and commissioning.
Having worked from the Tier 1 contractor, manufacturing, project-management and data-centre development sides of the industry, we understand the pressures and responsibilities at each point in that chain.
We also understand that major programmes rarely progress without challenges. Designs evolve. Manufacturing interfaces change. Site conditions affect sequencing. Equipment dates move. Commercial pressures develop. Commissioning exposes issues that could have been identified earlier.
The value of an experienced delivery team is not simply reporting those problems. It is identifying them early, understanding their impact and working collaboratively with the client, consultants, OEMs, contractors and operations teams to resolve them before they compromise the wider programme.
That is how we approach XPM.
